PSVita Port #2271

RetroArch's core has low performance and errors in some games, in addition to being seemingly outdated. A native Vita port would stay on par with the other versions and would easily receive the new updates

I'm also interested in this. Thinking of giving it a go but not sure what's involved yet

1030 mentions psp and psvita so maybe this has been attempted previously by @phcoder ?

after searching the codebase the only references to psp and vita I can find are in the vendor/sdl2 library. That's probably a good thing I guess if we make heavy use of sdl2 and they already solved vita support

Why the psp tho? It doesnt have a keyboard or the possibility of easy-writing. Just playing yet possible.
