rodent to play innovations like chess variants #42

hi, i'm new here. can you make efforts and update your engine to be able to play musketeer chess and other variants (bughouse, orda chess). mr ianfab is doing a great job with his fairy-stockfish and musketeer chess and many other games will be available, and playable on winboard.

saw that you have different personalities which is really unique (reminds me when i was Younger there was a program chess master with many entertaining features like those personalities. i loved to play against world champion personalities and finished by creating and improving my own ones).

Hi,

Rodent II is no longer under active development. You may want to follow Rodent IV, which will play Fischer Random Chess / Chess 960 https://github.com/nescitus/rodent-iv

Hi Pavel Hope you are safe and you family too.

I follow your work. Fischer Random Chess is for me a solution for the opening variety problem, but it's esthetically a problem because i find that pieces lose their coordination and frequently there is less harmony in the opening positions.

Musketeer Chess fixes the problem of opening variety without altering the piece coordination and beauty of the game. that's why i wanted to make this suggestion.

I fell in love with this variant for the past 2 years and the more i play it, the more i find it smart and reliable as a good variant for the variety it brings.

Recently, Stockfish Added a Musketeer Stockfish engine. Other programmers also have done so. That's why i suggested this to you.

The inventor is someone i met with. He's generous dedicating time and money for his games. He's also a medical doctor fighting the Covid-19 pandemics, as he works in an ICU.

I got his news and he's fine. Hope he'll remain so.
