added one unit test example and gitignore #22

You can run the unit test with

python -m unittest discover

Hi @juanpabloaj,

I have to admit I been hesitant to merge this PR because it seemed a bit random. I'm merging nonetheless cause' the unit test is fine I presume (could be useful to edit at some point...), and the .gitignore was okay as well I think. So...thanks?
