Tagging a new version, or use master branch? #712

Quick question for anyone out there: the latest version on Rubygems is from October 2016. There's been a lot of work done in the master branch since then. Should we be using the master branch, or stick with that old version?

I'd also be happy to cut a new release if people could help me test master and let me know if all is working as expected.
