Graphical issues #25

After starting ST2 I got bad graphical issues. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24391334/screenshots/screenshot_20130812-%2085024.png If I delete the phoenix-theme the graphic problems are gone. Anyone any idea?

I can confirm that something is suddenly wrong with the Theme or Sublime Text. When I started ST today, it looked pretty broken:

This occurs in both ST2 and ST3. I reset the settings, and everything was okay again. I narrowed it down to the Phoenix Theme, since everything looked fine when disabling it. Other themes, such as Soda, do not seem to have this issue.

I really hope this can be fixed, since Phoenix is by far my favorite theme :+1:

Yep. Mine is totally screwed too...

I'm on ST3 (build 3047) on mac os x 10.8.4 and I have no problem despite several reboot ST and uninstall / reinstall theme.

One hypothesis is that it comes from the Control Package which release a version 2.0 a few days ago.

Did you try to install the theme manually?

x3ro commented 11 years ago

Does the Package Control update packages automatically? Because I didn't initiate a manual update. I do think that I tried a manual clone from the repository, but I'm not sure, so I'll try that and report back here.

Yeah, I have the same problem here. Disabling the theme does the trick at the moment. Any ideas how this could happen or how to solve it?

lushone commented 11 years ago

Looks like Package Control has definitely borked this theme even though it was installed manually. You can't even search the database and install it from there.

Edit: Found the solution. Delete the Phoenix Theme from your packages directory. Install via Package Control.

This graphical error triggers if "Theme - Default" is disabled.

EDIT: Have been able to get "working as intended". "Theme - Default" must be enabled. If still issue, have "Theme - Default" load in sublime settings, then Phoenix (Theme and Color-Scheme, and all other settings) in User Settings overriding colours and layout of default.

I have the same issue...

TuxToaster commented 11 years ago

In my case, I was having the same problem, but I realized that several packages were all automatically disabled by Sublime for some reason, including most of my themes. I went to Package Control > Enable Package, and enabled the Theme - Phoenix package (as well as several others that were mysteriously disabled), restarted ST2 and all is happy now.

Having the same issue here. Tried uninstalling the package, checked that the files were gone, reinstalled and no change. The only thing I can think of that I installed (and have now uninstalled) is the Angular-JS package since this problem started.
