1 year ago Hello @abhas and @sebastianschauenburg , thanks for your request, we plan to publish to f-droid when the app is ready to be open-source.
In the mean time, we are uploading an APK to the releases. The apk won't be part of all releases as not all changes are connected to the android app. The latest release 0.0.16 was upload to the https://github.com/netbirdio/netbird/releases/tag/v0.22.4 release, here is the direct link:

3 months ago +1 here. I am using Tailscale currently, but would like to try NetBird. The only requirement I see missing is that I can install Tailscale from F-Droid, but cannot install NetBird.
P.S. Looks like that this issue is an older duplicate of https://github.com/netbirdio/android-client/issues/3 and there is already an open Issue in F-Droid https://gitlab.com/fdroid/rfp/-/issues/2688
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Like many others, I use f-droid a lot on my Android phones.
Describe the solution you'd like It would be awesome if the netbird client would be available on f-droid. Because this also means updates would be enabled :-)
Describe alternatives you've considered Using the Google Play Store depends on the Google Play Services, which is privacy invasive and not useable if you have not configured a Google account on your Android phone (and impossible if you don't have the Google Play services installed).
