KeePassDroid Stops Unexpectedly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Starting the application attempting to open a .KDBX file
2. Suspect it might be related to incompatibility with latest version of PC 
application, which generates the KDBX file, and the Android version cannot read 
it. On the Android version, I created a KDB file, and experienced no problems.
3. The Android file can only read a KDBX file, but can read and write to a KDB 
file.

What is the expected output? It stops upon execution. What do you see instead? 
"The application KeePassDroid (process com.android.keepass) has stopped 
unexpectedly. Please try again."

What version of the product are you using? 1.9.9 On what operating system? 
Android (Kindle Fire)

Please provide any additional information below.
I uninstalled the application and re-installed it. Same problem occurs.

Exactly the same as the original post, except using Transformer Prime TF201 
Android v. 4.1.1 W/ up to date firmware. I sync database via drop box. Works 
fine on my PC.

Is this still happening? Can you provide an example database to me that has 
this issue?

I've simply stopped using it. I have no idea what portion of the DB is causing 
it so making a example DB is not exactly plausible to me right now. I have over 
100 entries, most of them using extended character sets and passwords that are 
between 20 and 60 characters long. Most all have URLs. Some use the reference 
numbers rather than names directly typed in.
