7 months ago In the query editor, when selecting a "Space", a "Grouping by" value is automatically selected. If you "Apply" and reopen the editor, "Grouping by*" now shows an empty value (but it's still using the previous value). I believe this is a bug in the component state.
this actually doesn't happen when you select the "Space" it happens when you select the "Room" as well. if you select "Apply" after the default grouping method is set and you open the editor again it shows empty. we probably should have stored/loaded the group by

Hidden/disabled queries are still executed and shown in panels. You can filter queries setting this property like this: example. You can test this by clicking on the following icon when editing a panel:
