When you enter, for example the Nagrand Arena and start auto attack a fraction equal player, you are able to keep auto attack the player when he is already outside of the arena. We were able to keep auto attack each other even when we entered Shattrath. After we entered Shattrath the auto attacks always miss and damage over time was absorbed. We were able to kill the guards in Shattrath.

maybe working with a duel forfeited by leaving the duels range as well
