yup! I don't remember release-please existing in this repo 🤔 let me look at the docs to see what's the move so we prevent release-please from going out-of-sync

there's not a lot of docs on this, sadly. let's merge and see what happens - we'll need the CHANGELOG.md entry anyway, and the worst that can happen is that the release-please action fails after merging

I've posted to Slack about this: https://netlify.slack.com/archives/CMVS20SFM/p1656069199722769 I'll get this merged for now + get CHANGELOG.md up to date in a second PR.

there's so much stuff missing from the CHANGELOG, I won't backfill it. Opened https://github.com/netlify/netlify-commons/pull/339 instead.
