Smartcrop orientation #6

Hi Netlify Team,

nf_resize is a great feature. but when I select smartcrop it just cut the image from the center. It's a bit awkward sometimes. It will be great if I could set the orientation also. ex: ?nf_resize=smartcrop&w=100&h=100&o=top

@developer-evan hi there! I'm glad to hear that you liked smartcrop, and I understand that it is awkward and frustrating when the orientation is coming in the wrong way. We have other customers who are seeing this, and we're aware of this as a feature request, but I'm afraid we don't have a plan to add this feature anytime soon. https://community.netlify.com/t/my-resized-photos-are-sometimes-turned-90-degrees-i-have-git-lfs-enabled/16389 We'll update here if we implement such feature though, thanks for the feedback!
