After installing NR 13.06, i can't shift Default Audio output to the mentioned speakers When i open audio setup i got all these devices!!!! however should be only 2 devices the internal one and Logitech speaker. i like NR 13.06 ,how can i fix this problem? snapshot1

Please try the Logitech ... (Default Audio Device) as the primary audio device. Please also note that not all audio players like qmmp what I see opened use this global phonon kde configuration. Their sound output needs to be set in their configurations.

Oh thanks for reply, but believe me i have tried all possible logitech entry to be the default audio device, nothing working, but on NR 12.12 i have succeeded to do so. But, in NR 12.12 only 2 devices are availble. I think something wrong with the driver itself (may be adding ALSA in this release?. Thanks

llelectronics commented 10 years ago

In 12.12 Pulseaudio was the default audio server. Due to bugs in pulseaudio/intel driver it is not the default in 13.06

OK, how can i purge remove ALSA and install pulseaudio as default ?thanks

llelectronics commented 10 years ago

ALSA is needed for pulseaudio as pulseaudio only has access via ALSA. So just install pulseaudio and reboot

Thanks, however didn't work either. Would be back to Vanilla Ubuntu till NR fix it, however i like the hard work and candy eye of NR. Thanks for help appreciate it.
