Gnome Software: lists updates, but "Restart & Update" button does nothing #9

Update: It seems after rebooting, systemd remembers the Update action and performs a long going update during boot up. Now the button therefore just doesnt force the system into restart, but performs update just fine after next manual reboot.

the bad thing: After the full update has been performed, Netrunner Rolling wont start anymore due to resume> hibernation device not found UUID=55....

The ALPM backend for Packagekit is not well maintained and buggy, there is not much I can do.

We need some alternative then, will try latest Discover to see if its any good.

We might end up with the same issue, since it's still based on packagekit and it's alpm backend, but it's at least worth a shot. The person to ask about the alpm backend would be aleixpol.

I am working on things here in LA, therefore my Xmas is cancelled anyway this year, but thanks.
