Resolve workflow for backwards compatibility #10

I think I can (from now on) re-run old reports without needing to fix bugs if I always 1) document the package version # being used 2) change the version number when I make changes to the package 3) have the old packages be stored on GitHub - I could create an archive folder and move them into there? 4) Write myself instructions for installing an archived .tar.gz - that might take a little time to make sure it's working as expected -

Actually I think the key to this is to learn how to use "packrat"

Well, Ben said that packrat is currently difficult to use. Try the idea I included at the bottom of the Package workflow page. If this works, then going forward, this is the way to ensure stability of the work, and I can close this issue.
