It's typically more useful to explore a particular person's viewpoint on an issue than it is to look at the community average. This is for a couple reasons:
a single person's viewpoint should be more consistent than the group's
certain people are going to be considered more thoughtful within a community and therefore their viewpoint will be of additional weight
once #11 is done, a user can arrange and publish their viewpoint in a graph, making it easier to explore
