What didn't work?

First of all, Thanks for bringing this card into linux world. Speed is very low and it's really unusable with such high ping. In windows & elementary OS(Based on Ubuntu 16.04), I used to get 84 Mbps & 50 Mbps @3ms ping respectively but Arch Linux barely goes over 2 Mbps with very high ping.

What did you try?

[I also tried AUR package from the user repo who repackaged your script without any luck.]

Error code:

#block starts
[please include error code in this block]
#block ends

Me too have this issue the RTL810xE PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller is very slow download mi kernel install is 4.18.10-arch1-1-ARCH.

The problem is low performance the RTL810xE drive but in Windows 10 is work fine the velocity download is ok. I was reading on internet for a solution but not find.

I need your help community linux

One possible solution.

Kind regards.

I am having this issue as well.

Very inconsistent latency, packet loss etc when pinging my wifi router, same thing when pinging FROM the router to my laptop (ASUS F555L with MT7630). Very inconsistent download speeds, anywhere from 200kbit/s to spiking at 8-9mbit/s occasionally. Sometimes dropped connection.

I am using NetworkManager with dhcpcd, but I tried with the built in dhcp client, I tried using wicd instead of NetworkManager, but it's the same.

Kernel version 4.18.12-arch1-1-ARCH

Appreciate any input or help.

Same issue on Ubuntu 18.04. It seems that the developer is not maintaning this anymore, this repo has 5 or 6 issues for 1 year or more, with no response from neurobin....

Well, you can say that. I no longer use this device, bought a usb adapter and it's making life a lot easier for me..

I will at least update the readme file requesting new maintainers.
