Off-diagonals The above does tell us that X_L and X_R are basically the same - but are they off by an orthogonal rotation in the biology?

[ ] is the off diagonal block just X W X^T
- [x] procrustes-like thing for finding W that does the argmin
- [ ] test whether that is the same as A
[ ] are there neurons for which X W X^T holds?
- [ ] look at michael's bilaterals
