rigid-body rectangular physics
quickness important: keep the tiles falling
level: mostly horizontal with simple features: ramps, gaps, some kinematic physics
cursor moves tiles with physical collision correction: requires a steady hand
placing tiles with a key (hold: place a lot in a row - but how precisely control the "sampling rate" of placing?)
items:
could be rewards for higher throughput, e.g. by building pyramids
or normally, distributed in a level (e.g. reward to take a more challenging path in the level)
item functions:
hold physics for easier placement for easier progress
increase weight of tiles to make them fall slower
cursor moves row of tiles instead of single tiles
...?
ability to remove tiles, which can be strategic: use tile temporarily to block progress, having time to build
