scientific sleep measurements are labor and resource heavy
they should be used to the fullest - for multiple questions?
can there be an optimized standard protocol of a passive (i.e. paradigm-free, quasi-experimental) recording session?
initial ideas:
dream reports phantom drawings via multimodal generative AIs (e.g. audio, visual, ...) - one-size-fits-most because no real tradeoff of increasing granularity in only one dimension (contrary to what Windt suggested)
in general, standardize dream reporting, e.g.:
via my NF idea
analog scale of fluctuations of some dimension over time (POC in meditation)
trade-off of number of EEG sensors; don't bother using number between 16 and 60, because it neither really aids sensor-topography nor source localization
