Slip ring choice

I've contacted 3 slip ring manufacturers for quotes. I requested:

• 5x USB2.0 channels
• 5x Power/Signal lines supporting 24V / 2A
• A through-hole of at least 3cm diameter
• Maximum dimensions of 15cm x 15cm
• Up to 100 rpm

I haven't received full specs from everyone yet but they all claim to be able to our requirements. Summaries below.

Moflon

• $595 (part cost) + $115 (shipping and admin)
• 18 days (lead time) + 7 (shipping)

RotarX

• € 982.10 (including shipping?)
• 8-9 weeks

Senring

• $475 (part cost) + $80 (shipping and admin)
• 15-20 days lead time

@ederancz @filcarv @glopesdev Quotes and specs are all in for the slip rings. All suppliers claim they are able to match our requirements for 5x USB and 5x signal / power. RotarX quote and lead time is almost twice the other companies, but they may be being more realistic about supply chain issues.

Feedback is that choice of USB connector does not affect price that much so if we want we can have a mix of e.g. USBA, microUSB, female connectors etc. but I asked for quotes on all male USB-A for simplicity.

Given the lead times, I think we should buy 2 different ones to compare them. I am tempted to go with the two Chinese suppliers both for price and lead time. @RoboDoig, can you please check with the team if this makes sense and if no issues are raised, order these 2?
