Inclusion into main #1

Hello neurogeek,

is there a specific issue why you never pushed for inclusion of g-npm (or the npm.eclass) into main?

Hi @tomboy-64, Yeah, several reasons actually. First, packages in npm are terrible to work with, from a package manager point of view. Too hacky to make everything work. Then I moved jobs and stopped supporting Node.js, which made it less difficult for me to just forget about the whole thing :)

I'd welcome node.js eclass more akin to fake gem i'd welcome it , just to say deploy gitter via ebuild its easeir to go from deb file then symlink it. than to build it from 9999 src's...
