I've set up a "meta-project" for my PhD thesis, in the sense that it integrates Issues across other GH Projects. I also assigned deadlines, and Priority levels. https://github.com/orgs/neurogenomics/projects/22/views/3

Show all Issues in a grid calendar format, as opposed to a table format

The GitHub App for Slack is also useful. We already have this installed for the UKDRI slack but i haven't explored it much beyond taking advantage of its ability to render previews of Issues and PRs: https://github.com/integrations/slack#readme

You can use this to create/comment on Issues on GitHub directly from Slack!

It also has the ability to schedule reminders, which may be helpful to Send automated deadline reminders to Assignees (see previous comment).

Would be useful if I got notifications on slack when people post a message on a github thread… otherwise they turn up in my emails, but I get so many I loose track, whereas I check Slack now when I’m sat at the desk
