➤ Xavier Lecours commented:
Yes, we need to reach a state where we can deploy an OSF production server and developement virtual machines from our own github fork.

HI, Xavier,
I created a project and uploaded small file ( in my personals vm). Darsy tries to deploy osf ( dev or prod or both).
At the moment Darsy is trying to deploy osf (dev docker-compoese and/or production Kubernetes cluster on Compute Canada.
1) Should I work on it cloning their Github and Docker hub ( say using my local VM) or wait for Darcy 2) Do we clone all their repos or just some, perhpaps, osf itself ? 3) Should we fetch updates from their repos and how we organise that process if we should? 4) is it good place to track these work or better create new ticket(s(?

1) Let's wait for Darcy to create Dev and Prod environments on Arbudus (Compute Canada) or AWS. see Install OSF on Arbutus (optional - if docker-compose does not work) ( https://app.asana.com/0/1121118790993502/1148645638268903/f )

Extending due date into January based on comments above.

Development environment works on AWS with x-window forwarding (ssh -x), (albeit slower than local)

with small code modification, the index page (and few others) render for external users

Closing out this task as we are no longer proceeding with OSF installation.

Would not it be more accurate to close task as resolved?
