Describe the bug error - cannot debug locally, requires too much memory

Additional context Not sure this is related to the error but in this experiment some imaging frames were not being saved. Probably due to too many processes being open and/or hard disk fragmentation?? The hard drive was subsequently swapped for an SSD.

Initial solution: find and apply NaN values for those frames. Lee had written some exceptions for this in matlab. We should discuss it.
