If "focus on Hover" is enabled the extension window will close. Screencast from 2024-08-29 01-30-00.webm

Would it be possible to use the Escape key to close the extension window?

Hello, Yes, the extension is designed to hide when it looses focus. Something like a panel-menu or the app icons grid for example. It can be quickly launched with a couple keystrokes and moves out of way when opening an extension's settings app or when clicked on some other app/window. It can already be closed with the Escape key but I suppose you mean that it should not close on loosing focus. That would then need to be an option that can be toggled (for people using 'focus on hover'). Since the extension was designed to be transient it maybe a little involved. I would look into it to see how we might add an option for that.

Another thing I noticed in the screencast is that the Glass Grid window looked much smaller than expected. Can you let me know your screen resolution and Display scaling %? And, is it reasonably sized for you in this setup or too small compared to other apps? (BTW, the font-size can be set through settings menu).

Thanks for writing!

Thank you for looking into this, much appreciated.

I use a 55inch 4k display with scaling 100%. It looks fine on large display.
