[FR] Add an option to disable top bar styles while keeping menu styles and gnome shell styles #83

Firstly, I really appreciate the effort the maintainer has paid on this project.

The extension's name is openbar, but I actually love the menu styles and gnome shell styles most, with auto theming.

After using it for some time, somehow I find the original bar + blur my shell feels more natural and stable.

My point is, can we add an option to disable top bar styles while keeping menu styles and gnome shell styles for use independently?

Hello,

Firstly, I really appreciate the effort the maintainer has paid on this project. The extension's name is openbar, but I actually love the menu styles and gnome shell styles most, with auto theming.

Thank you! :)

After using it for some time, somehow I find the original bar + blur my shell feels more natural and stable. My point is, can we add an option to disable top bar styles while keeping menu styles and gnome shell styles for use independently?

Since it started as Bar styling at core, there is no option to disable it. However, you can get the default bar style by modifying the settings. Select "Mainland" bar and set Border width to zero. Maybe adjust the Bar Alpha and Islands alpha as per your liking (Blur would require transparent background). Use Blur My Shell for the Panel blur, you will get the same effect.

Let me know if something doesn't work with this approach, then I can help with it.
