@adf2fda - I'm away from my development network at present, so I can't reproduce this with the tools I have.

However, IIRC, nasm at least is in the powertools or PowerTools repository for CentOS 8, so if this exits on Oracle Linux 9, you will need to enable it [serverfault.com].

Try that and get back to me.

I've had a look at the Oracle 9 EPEL packages, and there's an xrdp-0.9.19-1.el9.src.rpm.

Looking at the spec file in that package, there is indeed a dependency on (for example) nasm. So it seems that this must be available somewhere.

On Alma Linux 9, the PowerTools repository is now called 'crb' for code ready builder (see here).

I also found this rather well hidden web page on the Oracle web site.

Do you want to try sudo dnf config-manager --set-enabled crb and see if that helps?
