Hi there!

I am trying to install CrystalPlan on my laptop but I am missing a package ('EnthoughtBase') and I am having a hard time finding/installing it. I could you some help to put my on the right track!

Hi Victor, I am getting the same error in the installation, but the package runs without it. I will remove from the dependencies.

I am not really familiar with the way to install packages for python (I know more about matlab), would it be possible to have some guidance for the installation? I want to be sure I did it the right way. Or maybe there is already a document that I did not see about installation.

Hi Victor, Here is how I install in my directory for testing and then build an rpm for our analysis computers: export PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:/SNS/users/vel/CrystalPlan/lib/python/ python setup.py install --home=/SNS/users/vel/CrystalPlan python setup.py bdist #generate RPM

Dear Vickie,

I installed CrystalPlan on two environments (python3.6.8 and 2.7, both using anaconda) and for each I get the following error when run crystalplan.py in the terminal : pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'EnthoughtBase' distribution was not found and is required by CrystalPlan

Is there a way to circumvent this error?

Dear Vickie,

Thank you for your email.

I tried to adapt it to my installation and I ended up modifying the setup.py file manually.

I installed it on both python 3.6 and 2.7 environments and with non of them I could run the crystalplan.py file. It did not find the config.py file with was in the ‘model’ folder. After copying the files contained in ‘model’ into the same folder than crystal plan.py, I tried to run it again but this time it could not import the weave package of SciPy. I tried updating the SciPy package on both environment but I still get the same error. Did you already faced such errors?
