In an effort to link places and time for place names in Marulic's Carmina that are contemporaneous with the author and had to consider several things:

This led me to a conclusion to set Marulic's Split in a point in time that is covered by period Italy Renaissance (1350-1549). If so, in this case, time transgresses the physical boundaries of the location, and I am not sure whether to keep it that way, or to choose a more general time definition of Medieval Europe (0400-1500).

As we discussed yesterday, we will ask Luka to compile a special collection of periods just for Croatia. The South-Eastern Europe periodization is already in the Google Spreadsheet. Then @NinaCengic and others will have more options to choose from.
