L Shaped Flow chamber support suffers from poor bed adhesion and is very likely to be clipped by the printer head and just moved around during printing. I found mine on the other side of the print bed and glued it back in place hoping it would work even with a few layers missing.
If instead it is designed with its own skirt, I think it would be much easier to print. It doesn't even have to be symmetric, as long as it has slightly more surface area.
I suppose the same argument applies to the other rectangular support, although it seems to be much more stable.
