Blanking mode not working before disabling and enabling #3

After installation the blanking mode seems not to work properly. The user have to deactivate and activate blanking mode under settings to get it working.

I can not reproduce this error in exercise pages. Blanking disable is only active there. Maybe the user meant this to happen in home screen? I'll try to ask him.

Blanking is really not working once another app is started. I think it would be a good idea to add Insomniac. So I will be able to call a blanking disabling the screen regularly (because of built in timer).
