Merging with latest head, again (or 1.2 features...) #26

Dunno what the appropriate name for this is, but there were several entries 
in the source tab Rezyn committed titled Merge Lakitu...

I was hoping someone would take this upon themselves to merge it again with 
the latest stable revision of Lak7 or whatever.

You guys know what your doing, and i trust your judgement. After all, if 
something bad happens, all that needs to be done is a revert.
