This may or may not be the problem I'm experiencing. When I have Tumblr open for a while or reload pages, it will get to the point where the physical memory on my PC shoots up to 98% and comes to a screeching halt (which is insane, because I have 16GB of ram, so there's NO REASON THAT SHOULD EVER HAPPEN WITH JUST FIREFOX).
Sometimes I've had to restart my PC entirely, other times it'll clear up. And I'll look, I'll check and see that one of the Firefox processes has gone up because of X-Kit. This only started recently, too, like within the last couple of months.
It's honestly insane when it happens.
I know this is old, but I also have this issue and it's getting very annoying. I've had to do everything from killing firefox with COMMAND PROMPT because task manager couldn't, to hard resetting my pc.
I'm on windows 10, firefox 59.0.2, xkit 7.8.2, and i have 8gb of ram. I'm not sure what's causing this. I'll try disabling most of my extensions and see if it helps.
It's old, but it's still relevant and happening to me at least once or twice a day if I slip up.
I run Windows 7, have 16gb of ram... I should not be going from zilch to MAX and freezing my computer because of XKit.
This is happening to me pretty much everyday too. Does anyone have a good way to fix it?
I've been having this problem for weeks now that I have to disable xkit on FF since the site always crashes completely. Do you know if some of the extensions can cause this problem so I only had to disable the one and not xkit completely?
