5 years ago Update: I've noticed the unplayable video seems to happen most often when reblogged by someone I follow who has their personal blog in "private" mode (that mode where you have to view their blog on your dash rather than directly). Just in case that helps.
Apologies if this has already been reported, though I don't see any posts about it (again, apologies if it has been and I just missed it).
The Vanilla Videos extension has been varying levels of broken on Chrome for a week or so for me. Either videos are auto-playing when the extension normally disables that, or they present as still images with no ability to play them. The difference seems to be original posts (autoplay) vs. threaded reblogs (video unplayable).
