Investigate Contributor License Agreements #414

Brought up in #405, but I think it would be worthwhile to investigate the legal situation as we rebrand and take over from STUDIOXENIX.

We should probably investigate Contributor License Agreements and see what our options are and how a CLA would operate under the current license of GPLv3.

Isn't this dependent on us having a better leadership structure then just whatever? and some sort of legal entity to assign copyright too.

not really worth it at this point in time imo.

I'm approaching it more from a CYA standpoint. A lot of what's in place right now is implied given it's an open-source project, and it should probably be firmed up a bit and put in writing.

Even if we don't go whole-hog and institute a CLA, we should have, at the bare minimum, some contributing guidelines.

We've got more pressing matters at the moment, to be sure. But this way we won't forget about it.
