Image uploads: orientation can be incorrect #742

Upon uploading images in Ask the Botanist, the image orientation can end up being incorrect. To reproduce, try uploading a portrait-oriented image, which can appear rotated and presented on its side in a landscape-type format. However, the problem does not appear to occur for all portrait-oriented images, only some.

From looking at recent questions and answers as well as testing some local images, this bug does not seem to be occurring anymore.
