1-based window nomenclature automatically reverts back to 0-based without explicit user configuration

Three times now I have selected 1-based nomenclature for the virtual desktops, and three times the configuration has been automatically changed back to 0-based without me specifically requesting that configuration change.

Please ensure that configuration, once set, is not automatically changed or reverted whenever possible.
