Yes, indeed, you will have to manually download these from somewhere. Not much I can do on my end to fix this.
As far as I understand it CurseForge gives mod authors the ability to disable downloads via the api. This option probably exists for monitization reasons, requiring people to go through either a manual download or the official app will net them more money. It sucks, but it is what it is.
I assume I am just going to have to go to Curseforge and grab these manually as it says? I did set the API Key from the Curseforge console into settings.json.
