There's a lot of complexity in our Envfile for the mongo multiverse suite. It doesn't leverage the somewhat new helpers in most of our other Envfiles. Let's try to update the Envfile to be more in alignment with the other Envfiles.
Also, there's a TODO related to bson versions that should be addressed:
