Cloud Optimize Analysis not running for Azure VM #147

Dear all,

We’re currently trialing the Cloud Optimize nerdpack available in NR, but running into issues getting the analysis job to run. I’m running it on a single workload that contains 2 Azure VMs with the infra-agent installed and Azure integration set up to ingest VM and Cost data. When running the analysis it tells me that it is requesting a job but returns no status or result.

May I have any suggestion on how to solve it, please?

Hi, can you let me know if there are any errors in the console log?

Hi, the New Relic team kindly raised this issue on my behalf. I was working directly from the Cloud Optimize New Relic One nerdpack deployed from the listed apps. After cloning the GitHub repo and running locally, I was able to receive optimisation recommendations, but my workload cost is totalling $0. Any particular reason this would occur?

Hi. I'm facing the same issue reported by @conor-mulvenna and since my organization is a big partner of New Relic, I have open a ticket for the NR engineering team to help me on that. Ticket URL is https://support.newrelic.com/s/case/5008W00001053GrQAI/cloud-optimize-not-showing-data.

We want improve cost visibility over Azure, which is our cloud provider, and I understood this Cloud Optimizer app would get some visibility on VMs or containers (kubernetes AKS), but nothing is showing up for my infra workload as shown in the image.

This should be resolved now, please run an analysis again and let me know if any further issues.
