Heather noted that our tiny news sites lack a search feature.

Should we add a google custom site search to the default site front-end?

To find articles for our own internal purposes, I thought perhaps we could use google site search. However, the results aren't great. Here's an example searching BBG for "employee" which comes up in at least one article: only the homepage is returned as a result.

I think I figured this out through Google Search Console. I had submitted the sitemap a while back, which I hoped would fix this problem. But the sitemap returns the full URL with the locale (e.g. blackbygod.org/en-US/articles//), whereas the canonical does not have the locale on it. Not sure which way we should fix, but this will need to be fixed before Google indexes, I think.
