Parse Variations #13

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

This is not a problem of course. And is not unknown. But there is not in
the issues list so i thought i should put it.
Till version 0.5.6 you can not play over variations. I create this issue as
a placeholder to be notified for future changes.

Ok, changed to enhancement. The problem with playing variations currently is
that as
everything is done on client side I'm a bit scared that this might produce some
time
penalties. Then again client-side scripting has evolved so much in the past
years
that CPU cycles on the client side is not something to be worried about when
thinking
more to the future.

I have a separated branch actually that has limited variations playing support.
It is
not complete but I'll keep developing it.

if you think its going to be an cpu issue you may introduce a toogle button with
trace variations ON and OFF

I think parse variations is really good enhancement.

Hi,

nice tool you wrote :). I use it as wordpress plugin.
The variation enhancement is now pending for 2 years. Is there a chance to get
it in the next few, lets say months ?
If not, I would try to write it on my own, but I read, there's already a branch
for
this ...

The branch is too old to continue I think. If you're interested to contribute
then it
would be awesome
