Sourcing all Chests/Rare Items in God of War #21

For this project, I would love to create a project that allows the user to find where rare items and chests are in God of War. I chose God of War because it is the most recent solo game that I have played and won game of the year in 2018. The game is very fun, but can be very frustrating trying to unlock chests and find rare items for currency. If we were able to create a site that allows for the user to search for a specific area and see where all of the chests/rare items, that would help speed up the process of the game. It would also allow for speed runs and people that want to 100% the game can do that easier with our help. While some chests need to be unlocked, there would be short metadata that describes how to do so. I think it would be cool to see how we would code something along these lines. If possible, there could be a integrative map that is the map of God of War and then breaks down into the specific areas. Just throwing my thoughts out there with this one.

SECTIONS:

About: What the site is and how it is useful for users

The Map: Integrative Map that is from God of War and shows specific areas that have the items the user is looking for. Since there are different realms, there would have to be an option for what specific realm and map the user is on.

Breakdown: The different areas and where specific items are located

Numbers: How much a specific item is worth in game currency and quantities of items to be found.

Creator: The people that created the site and their information/about section

Citation: Just incase for copyright issues, we can site the game here.

List: A list of all the items in the game

I specifically chose this game because it is the most recent single player game I have played and is very similar to other single player games. In reality, any game would work for this project and if there are any suggestions for a different game, we can always change it. I just like the concept of pointing out specific items and their locations on the game map. I think it would really help people that are trying to fully complete the game or do speed runs.
