Image Carousels #734

We seem to have a number of use cases for one of these, most recently the Venues page for multiple images of a venue. Would something like this be useful (to save reinventing the (photo) wheel), or would we rather create our own? http://sorgalla.com/jcarousel/

What are your other use cases? There's a risk that things like this look very tacky. I really like the way @wjdp has done the smugmug albums on each show (a grid, which you click to lightbox) - we could just do things similar to that...

@nhyty and I were just talking about potentially doing something to improve the homepage.

That would be nice - some kind of slideshow of many show posters could be cool.

I think the venues page would be better off just being a grid of some sort though. Maybe the main image could be big, and the rest could be in a grid underneath (all with lightbox functionality)

Was thinking more prod shots but a selection of photos and posters would be nice
