Refactor some defvars into defcustoms
Trim space from user and repo when parsing, allowing " user / repo " to be the same as "user/repo".
Activate magithub-minor-mode more conservatively, which fixes issues with using magithub and TRAMP together

These three commits should be independent of each other.

I'd really appreciate it if you merged at least https://github.com/DarwinAwardWinner/magithub/commit/a5f66d76fc9b9390780a5e74f2eb2c5b24a69e07. Without this fix, magithub hangs if you have any files open on remote servers that are not accessible, which frequently happens when working on a laptop over a bad wireless connection.
