3 months ago We have deployed a running system publicly accessible for demonstration with about 20M packages, and a semi-private demo system:
- https://public.purldb.io/api/ is available with fully unauthenticated and open access, and does not expose all the matching features (to avoid abuse and spam) and has about 20M packages
- https://private.purldb.io/api/ is available on request and has a DB of about 200,000 packages. It exposes the full matching capabilities. And is used by the ScanCode.io client at https://staging.scancode.io/project/ to perform end-to-end matching
It would be useful to have running system publicly accessible for demonstration with at least a good number of packages, say ~20,000 packages. It would expose lookup and matching endpoints
