The presence of this firmware image is confusing for end users. It is totally unnecessary once the user has version 3 firmware, because the firmware performs a factory reset on the XBee every time it powers up.
This firmware was produced as a regression tool during alpha and beta testing, for users who needed to return to version 2 firmware.
It should probably be removed from the installer and perhaps made available as a separate download.
