preview.png missing for mp3 files #656

Steps to reproduce

  1. Upload a mp3 file
  2. Check the Activity Stream

Expected behaviour

mp3 icon should show up

Actual behaviour

A missing image icon is displayed

Server configuration

Shared Hosting

Operating system: Debian

Web server: Apache

Database: MariaDB

PHP version: 8

Nextcloud version: (see Nextcloud admin page) 22.2.3

Where did you install Nextcloud from: nextcloud.com

Signing status:

Login as admin user into your Nextcloud and access
http://example.com/index.php/settings/integrity/failed
No errors have been found.

Can confirm this on 22.2.3 as well as NC23 The image is there in the file view but not in the activity

Issue still present on NC25. Also on NC23 and NC24.

Nextcloud 29.0.4 now and still this bug is not fixed. It has been almost three years since this bug has been reported....
