Upload specific File Type only #11865

Amazon Prime Fotos has unlimited Space for Photos, for Videos is a maximum of 5gb only. I am searching for a way to upload my videos only, without moving them to a different folder.

Describe the solution you'd like

A option to select a filter for file types in the auto upload section of a folder (for example videos only)

Each auto upload folder under Settings has an icon indicating whether the profile entry is for video or images. Can't you simply only enable auto upload for the video ones you wish to have coverage for?

I didn't find a way to choose the file type for a folder. My camera saves also videos in DCIM, so I'd like to upload those as well.

You can't at the moment. However for photos/videos you should see 2 auto-detected folders/items in the auto upload list, both with the same name yes prefixed with a "photo" and "video" icon. You'd need to activate both in order to have photos and videos uploaded.
