Downloaded images are not visible to other apps

Steps to reproduce

Download image file via Nextcloud app to phone
Open a different App and attempt to share the file (e.g. in a messenger)

Expected behaviour

Downloaded Image should show up in other apps when selecting file to upload

Actual behaviour

Image does not show up in other apps. Sometimes it randomly shows up after a few minutes or hours
Image DOES show up in Galleries (Simple Gallery Pro)

Environment data

Android version: 11

Device model: Galaxy Tab S7 / OnePlus 6

Stock or customized system: Stock (S7) and Customized (OP6 with LineageOS 18.1)

Nextcloud app version: 3.17.0

Nextcloud server version: 20.0.8

I can confirm this on my POCO F3 using AOSP. Neither Google Photos nor any other app is able to discover images that i downloaded with the Nextcloud app. I always have to move them with a file manager from /internalStorage/nextcloud/user@nextcloud.com/... to something like /internalStorage/Downloads/ and then they appear. This is very frustrating and way too complicated for most users.

I can confirm this, too.

I'm on stock Google Pixel 6. Android 12 Kernel: 5.10.66 Nextcloud from F-Droid: 3.19.1
